Ready to take your Mahjong game to the next level? Join us for an elevated exploration of American Mahjong focused on the strategy, etiquette, and thoughtful decision-making that transform a good game into a great one. The Sanderling Resort is delighted to welcome the expert instructors from Four Bam Birds to the table.
Building upon the fundamentals introduced in Mahjong 101, this experience offers a high-level look at strategic play, reading the table, selecting and adapting hands, making intentional discards, and understanding when to call or when to let a tile go. Players will leave with practical strategies they can immediately incorporate into their games.
You'll also explore the finer points of Mahjong etiquette, table manners, and best practices for enjoyable and confident play. Through guided discussion and hands-on practice, players will sharpen their instincts, strengthen their understanding of the game, and gain a new perspective on the strategy behind every move. Drinks and food will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
