Coronavirus Prompts Mandatory Quarantines, Travel Ban: Report
The Trump administration Friday afternoon declared the outbreak of 2019 Novel Coronavirus a "public health emergency"in the United States.

WASHINGTON, DC — The Trump administration Friday signed an order declaring the 2019 Novel Coronavirus outbreak a "public health emergency" in the United States, according to reports. President Donald Trump reportedly also signed an order allowing the U.S. to ban entry to any foreign nationals who traveled to China within the past two weeks. The ban excludes immediate family of U.S. citizens.
Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said during a press conference Friday that the U.S. also would enact a mandatory 14-day quarantine on any U.S. citizen who has traveled to China’s Hubei province in the last 14 days.
