Stretching along the Milwaukee River, the RiverWalk is one of the city’s best ways to soak up spring with waterside views, public art, and plenty of places to stop along the way. 2. Veterans Park

Set right along Lake Michigan, Veterans Park is perfect for breezy spring walks, kite flying, or just taking in skyline and water views. There’s a large lakefront parking lot, but it can fill on warm weekends, so arriving earlier helps.

3. Boerner Botanical Gardens

4. Bradford Beach

5. Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
