President-elect Donald Trump ran a campaign that, with the shorthand of "drain the swamp," promised to rid Washington of insiders and the corruption that goes with people who know how to work "the system." He certainly has his work cut out for him.
A new Washington Post investigation found that the Department of Defense has attempted to hide an internal study commissioned by Pentagon leadership that shows administrative waste is astronomically worse than it originally thought. The report, which was delivered in January 2015, revealed that the Pentagon was spending almost a quarter — about $125 billion — of its $580 billion budget on overhead and business operations such as accounting and human resources rather than its core mission of "protect[ing] the security of our country."

A San Diego, California, company called Brewbudz says it is preparing to introduce cannabis coffee pods to the market, and promises they’ll be compatible with the ubiquitous single-serve coffee machines."
