The guy in the picture has been arrested 539 times. Identical twins give birth hours apart. San Jose sues over DACA.

It's Friday. Another week of drama: stories of hope, comedy and tragedy. Another week of Patch covering local news around the country. Here's a summing up of just some of the things happening around the country in communities like yours.
From Hurricane Irma, Stories Of Kindness And Generosity Emerge
Coverage of Hurricane Irma has been dominated, understandably, by accounts of the death, destruction and utter misery the storm caused so many people. But other stories are emerging that attest to the resilience of people caught in its path, stories of generosity, kindness, strangers helping strangers. From Spider Man with a chainsaw getting rid of debris to a first responder in Coral Springs retrieving a storm-torn American flag on September 11, we gathered some of those stories. (Patch)

By Chance - A Copyright Suit
In May 1979, Abdul Wali Muhammed, a musician and lawyer in New York, copyrighted a song, "Bridge Through Time," which was recorded the following year. Fast-forward to 2012, when Chance the Rapper released his debut mix tape, which included the song "Windows." The song samples Muhammed's song. And that is a problem, he says. He's filed suit. (Patch)

Select officers in New York have been wearing body-cams since April. Last week, one of those officers shot and killed a man who pointed a gun at him and refused to drop it. While it turned out to be a toy gun, that's not something you can tell from the video. (Patch)
Identical Twins Give Birth Hours Apart - At Same Hospital
Rachael McGeoch and Beccy Pistone were separated for the first time in kindergarten, when they were placed in different classes. It was a bit traumatic.
