United States Easter 2020: Grocery Stores Open, Closed
Target, Trader Joe's and other major grocery stores throughout America will close on Easter Sunday to give essential workers a day off.

Easter Sunday will be the first day off for many grocery store employees who have been deemed as essential workers during the new coronavirus outbreak.
The holiday will also be the first day that multiple major grocery stores will be closed in the United States since the coronavirus crisis began in the country.
Here are the grocery stores that will be closed throughout the nation on Easter Sunday:

- Bj's
- Costco
- Publix
- Sam's Club
- Target
- Trader Joe's
The Aldi locations in California will remain open.
Trader's Joe's announced the Easter Sunday closures of its stores nationwide on its website, "to give our incredible Crew Members a much-needed day of rest."

While it makes sense that health care workers may be the first ones thought of when we think of essential workers in the battle against coronavirus, grocery store employees have continued to work through these difficult times.
Some U.S. grocery stores have designated specific hours for older shoppers as well as offering a variety of delivery options to help with social distancing efforts.
However, many grocery stores are also choosing to remain open on April 12. Here the food/drug stores that have said they will be open for business on Easter Sunday.
