A Burke teen was killed in a crash in Clifton over the summer. Conner McGowan, 17, was remembered as a son, brother, friend, classmate and athlete at Robinson Secondary School.

Bystander Witnesses Break-In At Burke District Camera
A resident's observant eye helped police catch suspects in a break-in at District Camera in Burke. Officers were not able to track down the second vehicle.

Owner Shoots His Dog In Head At Fairfax County Park: PoliceA Customs and Border Protection officer was arrested and charged for shooting his dog in the head and leaving its dead body at a Fairfax Station park. A witness had heard a noise and found the dead German Shepherd.
