Dolce Vita Offers Authentic Italian Cuisine: Fairfax Restaurant Week

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Specializing in homemade fresh pasta, a wood-fired oven and wine dinners and tastings, Dolce Vita Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar has been the go-to place in Fairfax City to find authentic Italian cuisine for 35 years.

"We have long establish relationships with our neighbors and guests," said owner Cyrus Colman. "We are always innovating and coming with new opportunities for our guests to continue to enjoy their experience."

Dolce Vita is one of the 24 restaurants and bars in Fairfax City that will be participating in the 2024 Restaurant Week, which runs from Feb. 26 through March 3.

"Restaurant Week is that nudge our residents get twice a year that says dining out is a community event. Trying new restaurants, or trying new offerings at favorite places, is something we can do together and we invite other people to join us too,” said Fairfax City Mayor, Catherine Read. “Dining in the city can be a culinary trip around the world without needing a passport.”

During Restaurant Week, Dolce Vita be highlighting classic Italian dishes and new items from the upcoming seasonal menu, according to Coleman. Diners will be able to enjoy a wonderful three-course dinner menu for $40 per person.

"The people — from the city officials to our guests," Coleman said, when asked what he liked about operating a business in Fairfax City. "It is at small town feel with bigger city opportunities."
