MOUNT VERNON, VA—The ex-boyfriend of 16-year-old Jholie Moussa has pleaded guilty in her killing.

Nebiyu Ebrahim, 18, had been charged with the first-degree murder of Moussa, a teen from Mount Vernon. According to NBC4, he admitted in court to strangling Moussa to death in Woodlawn Park.

Reports indicate he had been mad about being sentenced for previously strangling Moussa and that she wanted to end the relationship. That led up to their January 2018 meeting in Woodlawn Park. He previously admitted to detectives about choking her, moving her body and covering it with leaves.
