3 Women Rob Springfield ABC Store, Hit Employee With Bottle: Police
An ABC Store employee was injured after getting hit with a bottle by a woman who was robbing the Springfield store, police said.

SPRINGFIELD, VA — A woman robbing an ABC Store in Springfield hit an employee with a bottle and then fled the store with her two accomplices, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
When the three women took merchandise without paying from the ABC Store at 6400 Springfield Plaza around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, the employee confronted the women, police said. That’s when one of the women hit the employee with a bottle.
The women fled the store and left the shopping center in a light-colored SUV, police said.

The ABC Store employee was treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.
The public is asked to call the Fairfax County Police Department at 703-691-2131 if they have information about the robbery.
