Chef Coming to Kingstowne Farmers Market
Chef Carmine Marzano, co-owner and executive chef of Osteria Marzano, will be at the Kingstowne Farmers Market next Friday.

It’s time to start meeting chefs at a local farmers market.
Local chefs will make appearances at Fairfax County Park Authority farmers markets this summer. It’s a chance for you to learn great ways to prepare the fresh foods you can pick up at the markets.
Chef Carmine Marzano, the co-owner and executive chef of Osteria Marzano in Alexandria, will be at the Kingstowne Farmers Market on Friday, May 29, 2015. Marzano was born in Italy and trained there professionally before serving as the sous chef at Galileo in Washington. He also ran Ristorante Luigino in Washington for 15 years and worked at Famous Luigi’s, which was owned by his wife’s family.

More chefs will be appearing at other farmers markets in June.
The Kingstowne Farmers Market is open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays in the Giant parking lot at 5935 Kingstowne Towne Center in Alexandria, Va. It is one of 11 Fairfax County Park Authority farmers markets that are now open and in full swing.
