Dispose of Damaged or Soiled American Flags at Franconia District Station this Flag Day

Today is Flag Day, and it's worth considering how to dispose of a damaged or soiled American flag.
The Fairfax County Police Department will accept used flags in bins located in the front lobbies of police stations. One such bin is available at the on Franconia Road.
The flags are then disposed of by FCPD's Honor Guard and the fire department.
