Fairfax County Public Schools Calendar: When Is Spring Break, Last Day of School?

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — The weather may be chilly now, but warmer days are on the way, and students can start counting the days until spring break. So parents better pull out the calendar and start making plans.

In April, Fairfax County Public Schools students will get one week plus a day away from classrooms, book bags and homework. According to the school calendar for 2016-17, the spring holiday begins on April 10 and runs until Tuesday, April 18.

Keep an eye on this page for one and two-day camps planned for youngsters by Fairfax County during spring break.

Here's more dates to add to your calendar from the FCPS schedule:

• March 24: Student Holiday
• April 7: Third Grading Period Ends* and Students Released Two Hours Early
• April 10-14: Spring Break
• April 17: Student Holiday
• May 26: Students Released Two Hours Early
• May 29: Memorial Day Holiday - Student Holiday
• June 15: Graduation on or after this date
• June 23: Last Day of School (scheduled)
