How Kingstowne Voted In The 2019 Board Of Supervisors Primary

KINGSTOWNE, VA—Tuesday's primary election in Virginia determined state legislative and local candidates moving on to the Nov. 5 general election. While Kingstowne area voters didn't have any primaries for Virginia General Assembly seats, there were a few key local races.

Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay won the Democratic primary for Fairfax County Board of Supervisors chairman, while Rodney Lusk won the Democratic primary for the Lee district supervisor.

Kingstowne area precincts overall chose McKay and Lusk. With 100 percent of Fairfax County precincts reporting vote totals, some of the top Kingstowne area precincts for McKay were: Hayfield (69.16 percent), Forestdale (68.75 percent), Cameron (60.42 percent), Clermont (58.60 percent) and Bush Hill (57.95 percent).

The top precincts for Lusk were: Cameron (58.06 percent), Hayfield (57.99 percent), Villages (52.48 percent) and Kingstowne (52.11 percent).
