BB Gun Used To Evade Cab Fare In Rose Hill: Police
Police say a taxi cab rider tried to avoid paying the fare and fled.
ROSE HILL, VA—A taxi cab passenger tried to skimp the driver by using a BB gun Monday afternoon in Rose Hill, Fairfax County Police say.
The incident happened around 2:38 p.m. in the 6400 block of Telegraph Road. According to police, the juvenile suspect pointed a gun when the driver asked him to pay his fare. The suspect got out and ran away, and the driver wasn't injured.
Responding officers located the juvenile in the area. Juvenile suspects are not publicly identified. Police will seek juvenile petitions for brandishing (BB gun) and larceny.
