KINGSTOWNE, VA —As the 2018-2019 school year winds down, there's just a few months of school left before the final bell for summer.
The remaining last weeks will fly by in a flurry of end-of-the-year activities. Here are key dates you need to know if you have children who are attending Fairfax County Public Schools in the Kingstowne area.
- May 27: No school (Memorial Day)
- May 28-31: Hayfield Secondary School senior exams
- May 30-31, June 4: Edison senior exams
- May 31: Hayfield 8th grade dance
- May 31: Hayfield Secondary School prom
- May 31: Key Middle School 8th grade dance
- June 7: Hayfield Secondary School graduation
- June 10: Edison High School graduation
- June 7-12: Edison underclassmen exams
- June 7-12: Hayfield underclassmen and middle school exams
- June 13: Last day of school; early release
