Kiddie Academy Opens In North Springfield

The child care center invites the public to the grand opening for kids activities and information on its educational programs.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Kiddie Academy of North Springfield is now open and will hold a grand opening Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.

Owners Fatana and Louis Campbell invite the community to the event for pony rides, a moon bounce, face painting, snow cones, popcorn, carnival games, prizes, crafts and a tour of the facility at 5290 Shawnee Road, Alexandria.

"We welcome all community residents to attend this event, which is sure to be very informative, so that they are familiar with our services and learn hands-on what we are all about," said Fatana Campbell. "We want to make this a healthy and fun event for the entire family, so we’re offering guests healthy snack treats and refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to get moving and stay active throughout the event."
