Man Caught In Springfield Burglary, May Have Carried Out Others
Police believe an Annandale man may have burglarized other places around Fairfax County.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Police have arrested a man for a Springfield burglary and believe he may be responsible for others around Fairfax County.
The burglary happened on Thursday, May 23 at a home in the 5500 block of Belfast Place. A resident confronted the burglar, and he tried to flee in a car. Officers caught him during a traffic stop.
Stephen Anderson, 55, of Annandale was charged with burglary and was held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
