Man Dies In Alexandria Area Motorcycle Crash: Police
BREAKING: An Alexandria man died in a motorcycle crash Thursday night, Fairfax County Police say.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A man was pronounced dead on the scene of a Thursday night motorcycle crash in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. The driver was identified as Thomas Jefferson Duty IV, 45, of Alexandria.
Around 7:50 p.m. Thursday, police officers to a motorcycle that struck a wall. Police determined the victim was driving south on Telegraph Road near Beulah Street. The motorcycle veered off the road over the curb and crashed into a retaining wall.

Crash Reconstruction detectives are investigating whether speed or alcohol led to the crash. Anyone with information should call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131, submit a tip online through Crime Solvers or text-a-tip by texting “TIP187” and your message to CRIMES (274637).
