MLK Holiday Schedule for Fairfax County

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday on Monday will see some services open and others closed. The following is a rundown of the Fairfax County government schedule on Monday, courtesy of the county:

County Government – Closed

Courts – Closed

Public Schools and School Offices – Closed

Library – Closed

Fairfax Connector – Operating holiday weekday service, except routes 335, 395, 585, 595, and 597, which will not operate

Fastran – Not in service

Park Authority – RECenters open on regular schedules. Nature centers, historic sites and Green Spring Gardens will be closed. Frying Pan Farm Park will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; visitor center open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Teen and Senior Centers – Closed

Community Centers – Closed

County Trash and Recycling Collection – Regular collection

Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 Transfer Station and I-95 Landfill Complex – Open
