Paramedic Helps Franconia Woman Deliver Baby: Fire Department
The infant arrived during an early-morning house call, says Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Fairfax County fire and rescue personnel came to the aid early Tuesday of a woman who had gone into labor, helping her to give birth, according to the Fire Department
Units from Fire Station 5, Franconia, were dispatched to the family's home, and at 3:48 a.m., Technician Katherine Murray (Medic 5), with assistance from Engine 5, helped mom deliver a healthy baby girl, the Fire Department said on its Facebook page.
The Fire Department congratulated the Hill family of Franconia for the newest addition to their family.
