Shoplifters Caught With Stolen Items At Kingstowne Walmart

Fairfax County Police have nabbed a pair of alleged shoplifters at the Kingstowne Walmart Thursday evening.

Around 6:02 p.m., an employee reported a man and a woman leaving the garden center with a cart full of stolen items. When officers arrived, the couple was placing the items into the trunk of their vehicle.

Quinton Brickhouse, 35, of Washington D.C., was arrested and charged with grand larceny, larceny with intent to sell, and false I.D. to law enforcement. Mercedes Davis, 30, of Washington D.C. was arrested and charged with grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell.

Police did not say if the incident was tied to a robbery at knifepoint in the 5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard last Thursday, Aug. 16. Those suspects were described as two men with two shopping carts filled with stolen laundry detergent and diapers.
