• Planning Commission Seeks More Answers on Western Loudoun Recreation Complex (blueridgeleader.com) — Loudoun County planners are pressing for more data before advancing a massive 142-acre Western Loudoun Recreation Complex near Purcellville, raising questions about groundwater, septic capacity, traffic, and athletic-field lighting. With some residents already traveling toward Leesburg for fields, commissioners—including Leesburg's representative—want detailed water studies, traffic updates, and another community meeting before recommending the project to the Board of Supervisors.
