Child Dies After Critical Injury In McLean: Police
Fairfax County Police believe the death was accidental based on initial investigation.
MCLEAN, VA — An 11-year=old child died after a critical injury in McLean on Tuesday, according to Fairfax County Police.
The child was injured in the 1700 block of Maxwell Court. Initial investigations indicated the death was accidental. The child died after being taken to the hospital.
There were no immediate details released about the incident. As reported by the Washington Post, the child had been playing with friends.
