• Pumpkin Festival Opens with Wine Festival (nrvnews.com) — Sinkland Farms' 35th Annual Pumpkin Festival on Riner Road in Christiansburg kicks off Sept. 19 with a two-day Wine Festival featuring Virginia wineries, distilleries, and live music. Over seven weekends through Nov. 1, families from the Riner area can enjoy hayrides, a nationally ranked corn maze, kids' activities, food trucks, and new Pumpkin Putt-Putt, with varied admission prices by day.
