Celebree School Breaks Ground on First Virginia Beach Location on June 26

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – (June 17, 2026) – Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, and summer camp programs, is excited to announce the official groundbreaking of its newest school in Virginia Beach. The ceremonial event, set to take place on June 26, marks the beginning of a project designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality educational programs that cater to the physical, social, emotional, and academic needs of children. The new school is projected to open later this fall.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 1808 Salem Rd, by local Celebree School franchise owner, Lisa Deshpande. Members of the community, local officials, and media are invited to join and celebrate this milestone. Guests will enjoy light refreshments, courtesy of Kona Ice of Virginia Beach, and handcrafted Celebree Cookies will be provided by Abby Cakes. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with the project team and learn more about the school’s impact on the community.

“This groundbreaking marks the beginning of a space designed to support children as they learn, grow, and build a strong foundation from their earliest years,” said Deshpande. “We are honored to bring Celebree School to the Virginia Beach community and create a space where every child feels supported, encouraged, and eager to learn.”

The school’s enrollment center is scheduled to open in August, with pre-enrollment wait lists currently being created. Community members and interested families are encouraged to contact Celebree School for more information.
