After walking into BluFig Hookah Lounge in Lake Forest and acting aggressively towards patrons primarily of Persian decent, a Lake Forest man was charged with felony criminal threats, resisting and obstructing an officer and violation of civil rights with a hate crime enhancement. A Culver City sex offender has been sentenced to 24 years in state prison, after pleading no contest last month to three counts of forcible oral copulation with a victim over 14 years old. The newly registered sex offender assaulted an autistic teen over the course of three weeks. The girl’s mother told reporters that the break in the case came when her daughter was able to call her.
