After walking into BluFig Hookah Lounge in Lake Forest and acting aggressively towards patrons primarily of Persian decent, a Lake Forest man was charged with felony criminal threats, resisting and obstructing an officer and violation of civil rights with a hate crime enhancement. The Hookah Hater must be a real charmer – he was caught wearing a shirt adorned with a huge f-bomb in his mug shot.
In Huntington Beach, an elderly man was beaten to death outside of his home. "Responding officers found the victim lying on the ground and bleeding from his face and head," Bennett said.

Around the Southland, a student pilot crashed a helicopter at the Long Beach Airport. The pilot was injured and taken to the hospital, and the crash is currently under investigation.
