SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new work week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

This week, ICE is expected to help out with security operations across the country's airports starting Monday amid an ongoing partial government shutdown that is impacting the Transportation Security Administration.

"I have no idea how they can contribute at an airport unless it was for intimidation purposes," Aaron Vazquez, a TSA lead transportation security officer at San Diego International Airport and assistant airport steward for the American Federation of Government Employees Local 1260 in San Diego, told City News Service on Sunday. "What are they going to do, find somebody and shoot them?"
