SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect a cooler start to the week followed by a warming trend, according to the National Weather Service.

"Cooler temperatures persist through Tuesday. Warmer and drier conditions return mid to late week," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Sunday. "Elevated fire weather concerns for the North Bay interior mountains Wednesday evening into Thursday."

In other news, a man died after falling off a cliff; a teenager was wounded in a freeway shooting; one person was seriously injured in a five-car crash; and police identified the victim of a fatal shooting at a high school graduation.
