VERNON, CT — Happy holidays Connecticut and welcome to the latest Hidden Gem, arguably one of the most unique seasonal presentations put on by a municipality in the Nutmeg State.

Welcome to the annual light display at Henry Park in Vernon.

The Henry Park lights are illuminated each night from Black Friday through December from 4 to 10 p.m. People can drive through the park and enjoy the lights at their leisure. The trek runs from the athletic fields off the South Street entrance to the historic war memorial tower atop Fox Hill.

A star hangs on the tower that can be seen for miles and on a car night the view from the hill is vast.

The town of Vernon puts on the annual display as a service to the community and no admission fee is charged.
