Greenwich Election Results 2019: Vote Totals For Every Race

Fred Camillo has won the position of First Selectman, according to results from Republican headquarters.

GREENWICH, CT — Republican candidate Fred Camillo is the projected winner in Greenwich's first selectman race, according to results from Republican headquarters. Camillo beat Democratic candidate Jill Oberlander by a margin of more than 1,000 votes, according to preliminary numbers.

Unofficial results as of 11:15 p.m. had Camillo beating Oberlander, with 10,045 votes for Camillo and 7,466 votes for Oberlander.

Republican candidate and Camillo's running mate Lauren Rabin was also the projected winner in the selectman race, beating incumbent Sandy Litvack. According unofficial results, Rabin received 9,633 votes and Litvack received 7,457.

For the position of town clerk, unofficial results indicate Carmella Budkins, a Republican, won out over Democratic challenger Mary Saleeby, with 9,606 votes for Budkins and 7,310 votes for Saleeby, according to unofficial results.

For tax collector, unofficial results indicate Republican challenger Heather Smeriglio beat Democratic incumbent Howard Richman, with 9,125 votes for Smeriglio and 7,737 votes for Richman, according to unofficial results.

For the Board of Estimate and Taxation, all 12 candidates on the ballot were guaranteed a seat on the board.

The six elected Democrats are Elizabeth Krumeich (7,296 votes), David Weisbrod (6,664 votes), Leslie Moriarty (7,348 votes), Miriam Kreuzer (6,575 votes), Laura Erickson (7,206 votes) and Jeffrey Ramer (6,667 votes). The six elected Republicans are Leslie Tarkington (9,137 votes), Karen Fassuliotis (9,029 votes), Michael Mason (8,883 votes), Bill Drake (8,955 votes), Andy Duus (8,514 votes) and Debra Hess (8,994 votes).

According to the Greenwich Time, the GOP also regained control of the finance board, which has been under Democratic control for the past two years, with Republicans outpolling the Democrats by a total of 53,299 votes to 41,646 votes.

For the Board of Education, Democratic candidates Karen Hirsh and Christina Downey won seats on the board, outpolling fellow Democratic candidate Gaetane Francis. Joe Kelly and Karen Kowalski, both Republicans also won seats on the board.

According unofficial results, Hirsh received 7,805 votes, Downey received 8,243 votes, Francis received 6,844 votes, Kelly received 10,196 votes and Kowalski received 10,635 votes.

For the Board of Assessment Appeals, Mark Pruner (Republican) received 10,197 votes, Jeff Reardon (Republican) received 10,046 votes, Jack Kriskey (Republican) received 9,979 votes and Joseph Huley (Democrat) received 7,498 votes.

For constables, unofficial results indicate Donna Maloney (Republican) received 9,755 votes, John Thompson (Republican) received 8,632 votes, Bob Dustin (Republican) received 8,577 votes, Martin Blanco (Republican) received 8,526 votes, Dawn Fortunato (Democrat) received 7,442 votes and Donnie Romeo (Democrat) received 7,394 votes.
