[UPDATE] Kyle Navin, Son of Missing Easton Couple, Files Plea in Court Thursday

Navin, 27, of Bridgeport, is the son of missing Easton couple Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin who have not been seen since August 4, 2015.

Update 4:08 p.m.:

Kyle Navin has filed a plea of “Not Guilty” to the gun charge in federal court in Bridgeport on Thursday, according to the Hartford Courant.No new court date has been set and Navin remains incarcerated.

Kyle Navin is due in court Thursday to answer to one count of possession of a firearm by an person who is an unlawful user of, and addicted to a controlled substance, according to NBC Connecticut.

Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, Patricia M. Ferrick, Special Agent in Charge of the New Haven Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Colonel Brian F. Meraviglia of the Connecticut State Police and Easton Police Chief Timothy Shaw made the indictment announcement last Thursday.

Navin, 27, of Bridgeport, is the son of missing Easton couple Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin. The couple has not been seen since Aug. 4, 2015. Kyle Navin has been named a person of interest in the disappearance of his parents. He was arrested by criminal complaint on Sept. 8 for the unlawful possession of firearm charge.
