Teen to Plead Guilty to Stabbing His Grandmother to Death

A southwest Atlanta teenager is expected to plead guilty on Wednesday to stabbing his grandmother to death almost two years ago.

Heavy Rains Wash Away Portion of Highway In Canton

One lane on a major highway has been closed after heavy rains moving through the area late Tuesday evening washed away a portion of the road.

$1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Cartersville

A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold over the weekend in Cartersville. Texaco Food Mart at 401 West Avenue sold a ticket that matched the first five winning numbers from the Saturday, Feb. 20 drawing.
