Bill Murray Surprises Indiana Cubs Fan With Extra World Series Ticket
Karen Michel arguably had the best seat in the house for Game 6 on Tuesday. She sat next to the comedic actor the entire time.

CLEVELAND, OH — Not many people would consider getting turned away at the Progressive Field box office because all the World Series Game 6 tickets were sold out to be lucky turn of events.
But if that had happened to Karen Michel, she might not have gotten the opportunity to watch the game for free next to arguably the world's biggest Cubs fan.
On Tuesday, Michel traveled to Cleveland from her home in Whiting, Indiana, hoping to score a single ticket to that night's World Series game, according to MLB.com. She wasn't surprised to find out the ballpark had no more tickets available, but she was surprised to see Bill Murray walk by her, the report stated.

"He turns around and says, 'Here, here's a ticket,'" she told MLB.com. "And he kind of shuttled me into the door. I thought it was just a ticket to get in. But it was a ticket to sit right [by him]."

Michel — sporting a Geovany Soto jersey for luck — spent the rest of Tuesday night chatting with Murray about the Cubs, taking photos and watching Chicago defeat the Cleveland Indians, 9-3, winning in impressive fashion and forcing a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday. So she's got that going for her.

As for Murray, he proved yet again that the people behind the Nobel Prize need to get on the stick and create a award category for pure awesomeness, so he can start winning it.
