CAMBRIDGE, MA — Multiple cars are significantly damaged after a rollover motor vehicle crash that took place early Tuesday morning, according to the Cambridge Police Department.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene at the corner of Hampshire Street and Elm Street at approximately 2:30 a.m. to find a blue SUV upside down in the middle of the roadway. According to Sergeant Bob Reardon, the car was travelling on Hampshire Street when it hit a parked car, causing it to roll over.
“The impact caused damage to several other parked vehicles,” Reardon told Patch. “The driver and sole occupant declined medical attention from EMS personnel.”
The fire department’s Engine five, Ladder three, Rescue one, Squad three, & Division one were on scene and helped clear the scene.
No other injuries have been reported. The cause of the accident is now under investigation.
