Concord Police Log: Man Charged with DWI After Crash at Hospital
Plus, man allegedly drops full heroin syringe at Cumbies; couple say friend stole cash from jug; teens in Concord, Allenstown arrested.

Karissa J. Tucci, 19, of Monroe Avenue in Allenstown, was arrested at 5:44 p.m. on April 1, 2015, for felony fraudulent use of a credit card and three counts of receiving stolen property from alleged incidents at Walmart and Toys ‘R’ Us on Loudon Road and Target on D’Amante Drive on Dec. 28, 2014. She’s due in court on May 11.
James Weatherbee, 20, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. on March 31, on three bench warrants out of Concord District Court from Feb. 10, for unlawful possession; March 10, for nonappearance on court on a breach and conduct after an accident charges; $1,547 cash to settle. He was held on $1,000 cash bail.
Timiah L. Wilkins, 17, of Charles Street in Penacook, received a summons at 4:55 p.m. on March 30, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop on South Main Street for a non-functioning brake light and changing lanes without using a directional. The driver, Wilkins, had her license suspended on March 28, for default court summons and was given a citation. She’s due in court on May 4.

Samantha J. Lavoie, 31, of School Street in Loudon, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. on March 29, on a theft charge from Jan. 2, 2015, from the Market Basket on Storrs Street. She’s due in court on May 5.
Ivan J. Kelso, 24, of Rand Road in Northfield, received a summons at 8:10 p.m. on March 28, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop on South Street. Kelso lost his license due to default court summons and is due in court on May 4.

Corey M. Neveu, 26, of Mulberry Street in Concord, received a summons at 2:09 p.m. on March 27, for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop for a no thru-trucking violation on Horse Hill Road. Neveu’s license expired in March. He’s due in court on April 27.
Alex M. Oberg, 18, of Pine Street in Pembroke, was arrested at 2:55 p.m. on March 25, on a criminal threatening charge at Merrimack Valley High School earlier in the day. He is due in court on May 2.
Rodney C. Ballam, 57, of Horse Corner Road in Chichester, was arrested at 1:23 p.m. on March 24, on a driving while intoxicated, second offense, charge. Officers were sent to Concord Hospital for a report of an accident where the driver might be intoxicated. The reporting officer observed the driver, who was walking near the main entrance, and appeared “very unsteady on his feet” and “swaying all over the place,” according to the report. Ballam allegedly told the officer that he sideswiped another car and gave the information to the driver. He allegedly admitted that he had “a couple of shots” of whiskey earlier in the day. Ballam agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested. He’s due in court on April 27.
Jasmine Y. Curtis, 19, of Village Street in Penacook, was arrested at 10:27 a.m. on March 1, on a simple assault charge at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Manchester Street on Feb. 20, 2015. She’s due in court on April 13.
Sean M. Dashnaw, 24, of South Spring Street in Concord, was arrested at 8:02 p.m. on Feb. 28, for criminal mischief and default or breach of bail conditions. Officers were sent to South Spring Street for a report of a fight between a couple. The woman alleged that she and Dashnaw were arguing about a cellphone she had been trying to get back for months while Dashnaw was reportedly arguing with his father about bringing his new girlfriend to the house. Dashnaw, she alleged, threatening to punch her in the face and knock her teeth out, according to the report. He later allegedly threw the iPhone down the stairs and damaged it. The officer spoke to other witnesses and he was arrested.
Anastasia O. Behrmann, 30, of Alice Drive in Concord, was arrested at 8:18 a.m. on Feb. 28, and charged with simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault, from incidents at the apartment on Feb. 27, 2015, and a default or breach of bail conditions charge. Officers were sent to Alice Drive to arrest Behrmann on warrants.
Jake P. Demeritt, 28, of Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. on Feb. 27, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge from Jan. 26, 2015, on Wall Street. According to a court affidavit, Demeritt was staying with friends on Wall Street for three weeks but had reportedly disappeared after money was missing from a jug that the couple put their spare change and loose dollars into. When asked if he had been using drugs, she allegedly stated he had in the past but they didn’t think he was doing them any longer. She noted that they had known him for many years. The next day, while on her computer, she noticed that Demeritt had reportedly not logged out of his Facebook account on her computer. She allegedly saw him in chat mode with another man who allegedly agreed to give him a ride if they split the money in the jug, according to the report. The woman sent a screenshot of the interaction to police and they issued statements. The officer attempted to contact Demeritt to no avail. A warrant was issued on Feb. 24, and he was arrested by Allenstown Police a few days later. Demeritt refused bail and was held.
Matthew L. Urbaniak, 23, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. on Feb. 27, on two felony counts of possession of controlled drugs. Officers were sent to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street after receiving a report about a man in the store who dropped a full syringe after entering the store. The man, Urbaniak, was stopped just before he left the store parking lot. While speaking with Urbaniak, the officer alleged that he said he was trying to stay clean since he was out on parole after a manufactured methamphetamine charge out of Laconia from 2012. The officer allegedly saw a Q-tip in his pocket as other officers arrived. Urbaniak was asked to allow a consent search but he reportedly was unsure about it so the reporting officer went to speak with witnesses while Urbaniak thought about it. The store clerk alleged that Urbaniak had run into the store and dropped the syringe on the ground when he entered the store. The officer went back out and Urbaniak consented to a search. A small case with a mirror was allegedly found along with a spoon with residue and a syringe with heroin in it.
