Concord Police Log: Mass. Man Allegedly Chokes, Imprisons Woman
Plus, woman charged with bail jumping, man reportedly makes threat, and an interpreter is needed after DWI arrest.

Eric D. Gilman, 38, of Corning Road in Manchester, was arrested at 1:58 p.m. on May 20, 2015, and charged with criminal threatening and simple assault from incidents at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on May 10, 2015, on Alton Woods Drive in Concord. He was arrested by Manchester Police. Gilman is due in court on June 22.
Destynee L. Mitchell, 21, of Route 106 in Loudon, received a summons at 1 a.m. on May 19, for operating without a valid license after a stop sign violation on Fort Eddy Road. Mitchell reportedly told the officer she didn’t have a license and was given a summons. She’s due in court on June 22.
Erik J. Parker, 43, of North Main Street in Franklin, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. on May 18, on a bench warrant. An officer made contact with two men at the corner of Green and School streets. One, Parker, had a warrant out of Franklin District Court on a subsequent driving after revocation/suspension charge, $695 cash bail. He was arrested and held.

Eric R. Sleeper, 44, of Church Street in Franklin, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. on May 17, on a felony warrant. Police were sent to the United Church of Penacook on Merrimack Street for a report that there was an intoxicated man sleeping underneath the staircase. The met up with the man, Sleeper, who was reportedly “heavily intoxicated.” He had an active warrant for conduct after an accident from Franklin Police and he was arrested.
Aime Nkurunziza, 23, of Pillsbury Street in Concord, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. on May 16, for driving while intoxicated and operating without a valid license. Police were tipped off about a Ford minivan that was “all over the roadway and nearly struck several vehicles” before pulling into a parking lot near the prison on North State Street. Police caught up with the minivan later on North State Street and reported that it was drifting in the lane and crossing over the double yellow line. The officer tried to pull the vehicle over at North State and Penacook streets but it didn’t stop. Later, it stopped on Bouton Street. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver, Nkurunziza, reportedly stared at him blankly, locked the door, and refused to roll the window down. Later, he rolled the window down. When he did, Nkurunziza was asked for his license and registration and he allegedly told the officer, “No English.” When asked if he had been drinking, he reportedly denied he had. The officer alleged that his eyes were glassy and bloodshot, and his pupils dilated. He also allegedly smelled like alcohol. Nkurunziza was asked to step out for a field sobriety test and allegedly began to cry and pleaded not to be killed. The officer tried calming him down but he was reportedly uncontrollable, according to the report, so he was taken into custody. Police attempted to make contact with an interpreter but were unable to. Later, they were able to speak to someone in Quest Language in Massachusetts to assist. He’s due in court on June 1.

Haley L. Gadwah, 23, of Summer Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. on May 15, on two bail jumping charges, one a felony, from Dec. 29, 2014, and Jan. 12, 2015, out of Sixth Circuit Court. She was arrested during a warrant service at her home. Gadwah is due in court on June 15.
Elliott S. Dafoe, 31, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 6:54 p.m. on April 2, for disorderly conduct. An officer was on Higgins Place and saw a man stumbling in the roadway. He recognized the man as Dafoe from previous contacts. He was allegedly highly intoxicated and taken to the hospital under protective custody. While there, a doctor suggested that he under go a CT scan due to a lump on his head. The officer went back into the field and agreed to come back later to pick up Dafoe. When he returned, security alleged that Dafoe refused to return wheelchair after the scan, lost control of himself, and was extremely loud and disruptive, so he was put into a yellow pod. Dafoe was later arrested and held without bail.
David Partridge, 19, of Pleasant Vallie Drive in Belmont, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. on April 2, on a bench warrant. Police were sent to The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street for a problematic person. They spoke to the man, Partridge, and found out that he had an active warrant for unlawful possession from March 26, 2015, $300 cash to settle, and he was arrested.
Brittany A. Nassar, 21, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 12:21 p.m. on April 2, on simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault charges. Police were sent to an apartment on Fisherville Road for a heated domestic where a woman was reportedly assaulting a man. When they arrived, the man was “highly agitated” and stated that nothing happened and he just wanted his girlfriend out of the apartment. He reportedly let off “a guttural scream” and then, ripped his sweatshirt. “(He) was not cooperative at all with us,” the officer stated. Another officer interviewed Nassar who allegedly said that no assault occurred. However, a witness alleged that from the balcony of her apartment, she allegedly heard Nassar yelling and saw her punch the man in the face. “She told me that the male did not hit her back and was covering his head to avoid the blows,” the officer wrote. The officers re-interviewed the victim and Nassar and she was arrested.
Daniel King, 53, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. on April 2, on a felony change of registration information; duty to inform charge. He was in the Belknap County Jail on an unrelated offense when he was charged.
Brian A. Wickens, 46, of Oak Hill Road in Northfield, received a summons at 10:22 a.m. on April 2, for transportation of alcohol/open container. Concord Police assisted Loudon Police with a stop on Hoit Road. The call originated from Northfield Police that there might be a person in distress. The spoke to the driver, Wickens, and he reportedly had an open can Bud Light in between the seat and the center console and he was given a summons.
Christian O. Landor, 28, of Baldwin Street in Lawrence, MA, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. on April 2, for simple assault, domestic violence-simple assault, obstructing the report of a crime or injury, domestic violence-obstructing the report of a crime or injury, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, false imprisonment, and domestic violence-false imprisonment. Officers were sent to Market Lane for a report of a domestic. The caller alleged that her boyfriend, Landor, had choked her and refused to give her phone back. She also requested an ambulance. The victim stated that she and Landor had been dating for about two weeks but she was upset that she was paying for everything because he didn’t have a job. She tried to break off the relationship and the two got into an argument. She went to leave and he allegedly took her car keys and cellphone, and refused to give them back. She screamed and he allegedly covered her mouth and pinned her to a bed. “As (she) continued to scream, Christian moved his hand from her mouth to her neck and squeezed,” the officer reported. She later got away and attempted to leave but he allegedly stopped her. Landor allegedly put his hand over her mouth again and pushed her into a bathroom. She was able to get away and called police from a phone in the lobby. Another officer went up to speak to Landor who was in the apartment but they couldn’t find him. Officers later went looking for Landor and reportedly heard that he might be at the Cumberland Farms on Manchester Street. An employee at the store stated that a woman mentioned she was going to pick up a man at the Burger King on Hall Street. Police later tracked down a Ford Explorer with Mass. plates turning into the Carlson’s Motor Sales lot. Landor was found in the backseat of the vehicle and then, arrested. During processing, Landor allegedly called the woman “crazy” and said she assaulted him. He was held without bail.
