Concord Police Log: Staring at the Stars Leads to DWI Arrest

Plus, Manchester singer arrested for DWI; two charged with stealing steel; and Vermont skateboarder busted for drugs, loaded gun.

Nicholas George Demas, 24, of South Bay Circle in Colchester, VT, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2014, and charged with possession of controlled drugs, carrying a loaded handgun weather a license, resisting arrest or detention, and skateboarding in a prohibited area. An officer at a stop on North Main Street at Pleasant saw a man riding his skateboard north on North Main. The officer told the man that skateboarding was not allowed on the street. “Yeah, right,” he allegedly stated, and kept riding. The officer ordered him to stop but he reportedly didn’t and kept riding until Phenix Avenue when the officer caught up with him and put him in cuffs. The man, Demas, allegedly had a loaded .22 caliber revolver in his pocket but no conceal carry permit. He also allegedly had a grinder in another pocket. He’s due in court on Jan. 26.

William Henry Amsler IV, 29, of Canton Circle in Concord, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. on Dec. 15, on warrants and operating without a valid license. Also arrested on a warrant was Michelle Madeline Bean, 28. Officers were standing outside of police headquarters when they saw an Oldsmobile Bravada turn around in the state parking lot on School Street. One of the officers noticed Bean and believed she had a warrant. They made contact with the vehicle and found out the Bean had a warrant on a willful concealment charge, nonpayment of fines. The driver, Amsler, had a warrant out of Pittsfield for simple assault. He also did not have a valid license and that charge was added.

Bianca Desiree Berryman, 22, of Washington Street in Concord, was arrested on 3:09 p.m. on Dec. 15, on a bench warrant for nonappearance in court from Oct. 21, 2014. She was arrested at the Family Health Clinic.

Janet Pogor, 59, of Heartwood Lane in Concord, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 15, on a criminal threatening charge from Dec. 5, 2014. She’s due in court on Jan. 26.

Katherine E. Ayer, 28, of Summer Street in Penacook, was arrested at 9:02 a.m. on Dec. 15, on a bench warrant for nonappearance in court from Dec. 11, 2014. She was arrested during a traffic stop after an officer saw a Ford Explorer with an expired inspection sticker on Village Street.

Thomas Aucoin, 49, of North Emperor Drive in Concord, was arrested at 1:53 a.m. on Dec. 15, for driving while intoxicated, second offense. An officer parked at Dallas Pizza on North State Street saw a vehicle drive up and park and a man walk over to a fence and started staring at the stars. The man, later identified as Aucoin, was allegedly swaying back and forth. The officer spoke to Aucoin and asked him what he was doing. He allegedly began slurring his words and said he was upset. The officer allegedly could smell a strong odor of alcohol and said he was coming from a friend’s house but when asked where, “Thomas said, with a blank state, ‘There.’” He agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested. According to police, he was convicted of aggravated driving while intoxicated in December 2005.

Dean William Jeas, 52, of Shaker Road in Canterbury, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. on Dec. 14, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from Dec. 12, 2014, $225 cash to settle. Officers were sent to an accident at the intersection of Loudon Road and Canterbury Road. A woman stated that her father would be picking her up from the scene. When he arrived, police found out he had a warrant and he was arrested.

Anthony J. Donato, 23, of Washington Street in Concord, was arrested at 6 p.m. on Dec. 14, on a bench warrant for operating after suspension out of Berlin District Court. He was arrested at the Hess gas station on North Main Street and released on $125 cash bail.

Derek Nathaniel Milioto, 32, of Thorndike Street in Concord, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 12, for driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration. He was stopped on South State Street near Perley after a registration query on a Volkswagen. Milioto’s license was suspended on Aug. 9, 2014, for default court summons. He’s due in court on Jan. 26.

Kenny Joe Robbins, 19, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:28 p.m. on Dec. 12, on simple assault and possession of controlled drugs charges. Officers were sent to Freedom Acres Drive for a report of an unwanted guest. The caller reported that his son was in the driveway and acting “out of control.” The reporting officer spoke with Robbins, who he knew from other contacts. Robbins allegedly stated that he and his father had an argument and he couldn’t deal with it anymore. He reportedly was in possession of knives that he turned over to the officer. Robbins told the officer that he was upset because it was his birthday and he wanted to have a party and a fire outside but no one was showing up when they said they would. His father began to give him a hard time, so he went outside. Robbins alleged that his father was intoxicated and jumped him outside, in an unprovoked assault. The father told police that they agreed to let him have his party on Dec. 13, but that he was allegedly in a mood all night. Robbins allegedly began yelling and getting out of hand she he was asked to leave. He went outside and reportedly started yelling on a phone. The father told him to tone it down since they didn’t want their neighbors to get upset and later, ordered him to leave. Robbins allegedly “squared off with him” and the two started fighting. Robbins’ mother related similar information to the officer and he was arrested. During a pat down, a large glass smoking device with burnt residue was allegedly found in one pocket while a grinder was found in another. He’s due in court on Jan. 26.

Andrew Joseph Fraser, 32, of North Main Street in Boscawen, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. on Dec. 12, on a felony organized retail crime enterprise charge. The victim in the case was Walmart on Loudon Road. He’s due in court on Jan. 26.

Edward B. MacKenzie, 41, of Garvins Falls Road in Concord, was arrested at 12:59 p.m. on Dec. 11, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and criminal liability for conduct of another. Christopher Everett Norton, 41, of Garvins Falls Road in Concord, was arrested at 1:42 p.m. on Dec. 11, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Both incidents were related to stolen scrap metal from Nitco on Locke Road on Sept. 15, 2014. They are due in court on Jan. 26.

Stephen Ray Tolson, 26, of Belmont Street in Manchester, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. on Dec. 10, for aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of driving while intoxicated. On North Main Street near Park, an officer noticed a Pontiac pull out of a parking space, across the two lanes, and over the double yellow line, pulling a U-turn, which is not allowed on Main Street. The vehicle was pulled over near South Main and Fayette streets. The driver, Tolson, allegedly was giving off a strong odor of alcohol, his eyes were bloodshot, droop, and glassy, and he “appeared tired.” He and two other passengers had left Tandy’s Top Shelf after a singing competition. After a field sobriety test, he was arrested. He later reportedly admitted to drinking six beers. Two empty Bud Light cans were allegedly found in the backseat of the vehicle.

Seth Kirshneur, 37, of Dakin Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, on a driving after suspension or revocation charge after a traffic stop on Fort Eddy Road. His license was revoked by the NH DMV on Oct. 3, 2014, for DWI.
