Concord Police Log: Man Smashes Mom's Table, Walks Through Door, Vomits

Plus, former Walmart employee booked on felony organized retail crime enterprise charge; teen charged with criminal trespass.

Joshua D. Melendy, 29, of Clinton Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. on Oct. 13, on simple assault and criminal mischief charges. Police were sent to Clinton Street for a disturbance involving an individual trying to leave the area with a small child. Melendy was reportedly upset and sweating, while complaining about issues with the mother of his child and his parents. Another officer spoke with individuals inside the apartment who alleged that Melendy grabbed his father and punched a hole in a kitchen wall.

Jennifer L. Knowles, 38, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:47 p.m. on Oct. 13, on resisting arrest or detention and obstructing government administration charges. Officers alleged that while trying to investigate a domestic disturbance in the North State Street apartment, Knowles allegedly tried to flee the scene and closed a door, limiting the officers opportunity to gain access to the apartment to find out what was going on.

Justin Thomas Martin, 30, of Thompson Street in Concord, was arrested at 11 a.m. on Oct. 14, and charged with organized retail crime enterprise, a felony, three counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, three counts of criminal liability for the conduct of another, theft by deception, and a bench warrant. Also charged in this case was Rebecca L. Martin, 27, of Thompson Street, who received a summons at 1:17 p.m. on Oct. 14, for criminal liability for the conduct of another. Previously, Katherine Ayer and Ronald Coulombe were both arrested in connection to this case. According to a court affidavit, on Aug. 10, an officer was sent to the Walmart on Loudon Road for a past tense theft involving a former employee, Martin. An employee alleged that on different occasions, he, his wife, Ayer, and Coulombe were involved in the theft of items at the store. The items included two coffee makers (about $180), that were returned for gift cards; an eight piece cook set valued at $149, that was returned for a gift card; $279 worth of items; frozen pizza, diapers, bottled water, and soda. The thefts occurred in June and July. Martin was arrested while walking on North State Street and held without bail.

Kaitlyn Rollins, 21, of Allenstown, was arrested at 8:36 a.m. on Oct. 15, on a simple assault charge from Oct. 14, in an apartment on Village Street in Penacook.

Roy J. Aikens, 51, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. on Oct. 15, on a bench warrant. Aikens was reportedly sleeping on the front steps of St. John Regional School even though he had a no trespass letter for the property. Aikens, who is a registered sex offender, was given another letter and during a check, it was revealed that Aikens missed a court date earlier that day in Rochester and he was arrested.

Michael Dana Morin, 51, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 15, on a bench warrant from Sept. 29, for nonappearance in Concord District Court on a controlled drug act, $1,000 cash bail.

Nathan Charron, 17, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 7:51 p.m. on Oct. 15, on criminal trespass and default or breach of bail conditions from Oct. 4, at Merrimack Valley High School.

Todd Keating, 33, of School Street in Loudon, was arrested at 8:32 p.m. on Oct. 15, on a criminal trespass charge from 15 Cheryl Drive on Sept. 25, allegedly involving a pried window.

Ryan James Mitchell, 21, of Warren Drive in New Boston and Concord Gardens in Concord, received summons at 12:50 a.m. and 10:33 p.m. for operating without a valid license. In the first instance, an officer ran plates on a Volkswagen Jetta on East Side Drive and found that owner’s license had expired on Oct. 10. Ryan, who was on probation, was given a summons. Later, an officer reportedly saw the Jetta speeding through the Walmart parking lot on Loudon Road. The officer pulled it over at the Steeplegate Mall on Loudon Road and spoke with the driver, Mitchell, who had an expired license. Mitchell reportedly stated that he had just gotten out of jail and had not had time to fix the issue and was given a summons.

Michael Courchesne, 24, of Tower Circle in Concord, was arrested at 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, for false public alarm and default or breach of bail conditions from Aug. 20, at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. He was served the arrest warrant while in jail. He’s due in court on Dec. 8.

Michael William Hicks, 49, of North Curtisville Road in Concord, was arrested at 2:17 p.m. on Oct. 16, on a theft charge from Oct. 10, at Walgreens on Loudon Road.

Chrystine A. Lilley, 40, of Ray Street in Manchester, received a summons at 5:47 p.m. on Oct. 16, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop on Broadway for speeding (42 in a 30 mph zone). Her license was suspended on Oct. 14, for default court summons.

Gavin William Bachman, 20, of Perley Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. on Oct. 16, and charged with two counts of criminal mischief, unlawful possession of alcohol, and resisting arrest or detention. Officers were sent to Perley Street for a disturbance. Officers met with two women, one who reported that Bachman was allegedly vomiting in the backyard. Bachman allegedly admitted to falling through a glass door and was cut in the head and knee but refused medical treatment. According to the reporting officer, Bachman allegedly became “very irate,” was yelling at the officers, while they were trying to figure out what happened. Bachman allegedly got up to leave while officers requested that he stay in place. A sergeant arrived at the scene and Bachman was taken into custody. It was later learned that he allegedly flipped a table over in the home after an argument with his mother. During processing, Concord Fire and Rescue teams cleared Bachman and he was “violently vomiting into a trash can.”

Christopher Klemenc, 19, of Knox Road in Weare, received a summons at 9:47 p.m. on Oct. 16, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge after a traffic stop for a headlight that was out. His license was suspended on Sept. 9, for default court summons.

Michele L. Carter, 45, of Cartier Street in Manchester, received a summons at 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 17, for driving after revocation or suspension. She was pulled over for speeding (50 mph in a 35 zone) on Clinton Street. A check revealed that her license was suspended for default child support in December 2013.
