Concord Police Log: Woman Charged with Reporting False Fire Alarm
Plus, Boston man smashes fish tank at Shaw's; teen arrested for harassment; Manchester man, out of prison, allegedly assaults new girlfriend

Joshua G. Manias, 21, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. on April 2, 2015, on criminal trespass and felony possession of controlled drugs charges. Police were sent to the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street for an unwanted guest. When they arrived, they saw the man, later identified as Manias, walking out. He reportedly told police he had been there 25 minutes and didn’t know if there was a no trespass notice against him. Manias also allegedly denied that he was told to leave. The store manager, however, said he was there for about two hours and when asked to leave numerous times, he reportedly refused. Even Manias’ cousin asked him to leave, the restaurant manager alleged. The cousin reportedly admitted to one of the officers that Manias allegedly refused to leave when told and he was arrested. During a search, police allegedly found hydrocodone tablets that were prescribed to another person and the drug charge was added. Manias was held without bail.
Rbheyeh Meskoob, 67, of Mulberry Street in Concord, received a summons at 8:15 p.m. on April 1, on a conduct after an accident charge from March 26, 2015, at the L.L. Bean on Fort Eddy Road. He’s due in court on May 4.
Jake L. Rucker, 35, of Manchester Street in Concord, was arrested at 11:26 a.m. on March 31, on a criminal trespass charge. Officers were sent to The Friendly Kitchen for an unwanted individual who had a no trespass order and wouldn’t leave. The officer saw the man, later identified as Rucker, at the gazebo and when he headed over there, Rucker reportedly began to walk along the trail on Ferry Street. When told he wasn’t supposed to be on the property, “Rucker said he was aware and he knows they will let him come back in October,” according to the report, but he just wanted some coffee and left right after. The officer double-checked the no trespass order, which was from September 2014. Rucker was then arrested and is due in court on May 11.

Amanda Phelps, 38, of Lords Mill Road in Epsom, was arrested at 3:46 p.m. on March 30, for report of a false alarm of a fire from March 7, 2015, on East Side Drive. She turned herself in to police and is due in court on May 4.
Daniel J. Martel, 49, of Cornhill Street in Boston, was arrested at 5:07 p.m. on March 29, for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Officers were sent to Shaw’s Supermarket on Fort Eddy Road for a report of a man yelling in the parking lot that he was going to smash car windows. A sergeant and another officer caught up with the man, Martel, outside of Uno on Fort Eddy Road. The officer recalled speaking to Martel at around 3:30 p.m. after an incident at Petco. At the time, he was reportedly in possession of a fish tank. Martel reportedly told police that the manager of the Shaw’s was “bothering him” while he was waiting for the bus. A panel on the fish tank broke later and he became upset. Since it was “no good,” Martel reportedly stated, he decided to drop it on the ground. At Shaw’s, the officer spoke to the manager and saw glass all over the entrance of the store. The manager alleged that Martel was yelling at a customer in the parking lot and was told to leave but allegedly refused. He reportedly left and then returned and threw the fish tank on the ground in front of the store and it shattered. Martel was arrested and held without bail.

Bulambo “Alex” Dunia, 27, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. on March 28, on a criminal trespass charge. Officers were sent to Loudon Road for a report of an unwanted guest who wouldn’t leave. When they arrived, they allegedly found Dunia “leaning against the door jam of (an) apartment, knocking on the door, and yelling at the people inside.” The residents in the apartment alleged that they had told Dunia repeatedly to stop banging on their door because they had children sleeping inside and he allegedly tried to force the door open. He was reportedly intoxicated and after speaking with him, officers arrested him. Dunia is due in court on May 4.
Dianne J. Perkins, 68, of Bow Street in Concord, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. on March 27, for simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. Police were sent to the home after an abandoned 911 call. When they arrived, they spoke to Perkins who was “very emotional” about an argument the two had. The man stated that they were involved in an argument earlier in the day and he later left to go to a convention. When he returned, Perkins was still reportedly upset and “would not let things go.” While he was in bed, she allegedly came into the room and slapped him. Perkins was arrested and is due in court on May 4.
Sean Gray, 24, of Sedgemoor Road in Gwynn Oak, MD, received a summons at 8:30 a.m. on March 25, for operating without a valid license after an accident at Centre and North Spring streets. He’s due in court on April 27.
Patrick M. Gately, 44, of Liberty Street in Concord, received a summons at 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 28, on an operating without a valid license charge after a traffic stop on Fisherville Road that almost drove into a police cruiser. The driver started that he slid on the ice but when told that the tires seemed to be moving, “he abandoned the excuse,” according to the report. The driver, Gately, had an expired driver’s license and was given a summons.
Mason E. Gatanti, 17, of West Street in Concord, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on March 3, on a warrant from the New Hampshire State Police for harassment.
Adam S. Quinney, 23, of Concord Stage Road in Weare, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. on March 1, for conduct after an accident, driving after revocation or suspension, and speeding from Feb. 3, 2015, on Sheep Davis Road.
Craig S. Laber, 52, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 5:24 p.m. on Feb. 28, for criminal trespass. Officers were sent to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street in Concord for a report of two intoxicated individuals. One, Laber, had a no trespass order for the property from May 2014 and was arrested. Laber was arrested and held without bail.
James Mieles, 25, of Second Street in Manchester, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. on Feb. 27, and charged with criminal threatening, domestic violence-obstructing report of a crime, obstructing report of a crime or injury, simple assault, domestic violence-simple assault, and two warrants, one a felony for aggravated felonious assault from February issued by Hillsborough County Sheriffs. According to a court affidavit, on Feb. 18, officers were sent to Market Lane to meet with a woman about a domestic assault on Feb. 17. The woman alleged that “James Baez,” an alias Mieles reportedly used in the past, according to the report, were having an argument. He allegedly lifted up his fist to punch her and she stated that she told him to go ahead, because she was sick of the abuse. Mieles reportedly replied that he wasn’t going to hit her because she would call police. She dialed 911 anyway and he allegedly grabbed the cellphone from her, disconnected the phone, and then pulled her by the shirt and threw her on the floor. Previously, she broke her tailbone when she fell down some stairs and thought she had reinjured the injury. He then left the apartment with the cellphone. According to the report, an ex of Mieles’ had called her to warn her that there was an active warrant out for him due to a previous assault incident. The woman also stated that he had just been released from prison. Nine days later, police were sent to Market Lane for a report that there was a bail bond agency looking for Mieles in the area and he might be in an apartment with his girlfriend. Officers were sent to the building and no one answered the buzzer. Phone calls were also not answered. The agency told Concord Police that they had keys to the building and would be attempting to apprehend Mieles. Concord Police searched the area and later, Mieles exiting the building in cuffs with a bail bondsman and took custody of him.
