Concord Police Logs: Teen Allegedly Punches Mom's Car Causing a Dent
Plus, water splashed from glass leads to assault charges, riding bike at night without lights leads to a warrant arrest, and numerous DWIs.

Garrett W. Halle, 22, of Stone Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. on June 1, 2015, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from May 22, 2015, for nonappearance in court, $500 cash bail. Halle was arrested after an officer stopped him for riding his bike without a headlight. When questioned, Halle reportedly gave another person’s name to the officer, but the birthdate didn’t match and his height and weight was not the same as Dunn. He later allegedly admitted that he was Halle and he was arrested.

Derek Kendrick, 25, of Foster Hill Road in Henniker, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. on May 31, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. An officer on South Main at Perley saw a Ford Expedition traveling at a high rate of speed. He followed the vehicle and was able to clock it going 45 mph in a 30 zone, according to the report, and it was pulled over in the parking lot of CVS. When the officer approached to speak to the driver, he allegedly smelled like alcohol and asked where he and the passengers were coming from. Kendrick, the driver, reportedly stated that they were at Tandy’s but “were kicked out of the bar” and heading home. “While speaking with the operator, I observed that his eyes were bloodshot red and glossy and he was speaking with a thick tongue,” the officer alleged. Kendrick agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Brittany L. Wilcox, 25, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. on May 29, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. Officers were sent to the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street for a report of an intoxicated woman who might be violating her bail. The officers caught up with Wilcox, who reportedly denied drinking. She consented to a field sobriety test and was then arrested. Wilcox is due in court on July 6.
Connor W. Skoog, 17, of Royal Gardens in Concord, was arrested at 5:08 p.m. on May 29, on a criminal mischief charge. Officers were sent to Trinity Baptist Church on Clinton Street for a report of a domestic. When they arrived, they spoke with a woman and her son, Skoog, who were reportedly arguing about an appointment and his disrespectful behavior. She pulled the car over in the parking lot of the church and he allegedly became angrier. Skoog allegedly got out of the vehicle, call her an offensive name, and punched the trunk of the car with his fist, causing a large dent about the size of a basketball. He then left the area and headed to work at a restaurant on North Main Street. The reporting officer spoke with a witness who reported the same thing. The officer then went to the restaurant and arrested Skoog. He’s due in court on July 6.

Jonathan M. Chase, 28, of Justin Drive in Boscawen, was arrested at 9:09 a.m. on April 19, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop on Loudon Road for a license check for a suspended license. Chase lost his license in Henniker District Court in October 2012 and Franklin District Court in December 2014.
Jeremiah R. Gilbert, 24, of Bog Road in Concord, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. on April 19, for conduct after an accident on Jan. 22, 2015, on Fisherville Road. While checking plates on North Main Street, the officer found Gilbert had an active warrant and he was arrested.
Benjamin M. Berry, 38, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:59 p.m. on April 18, for default or breach of bail conditions for allegedly drinking at a homeless camp behind The Concord Center on Ferry Street. Berry was held without bail.
Brittney Bowne, 24, of Cabernet Drive in Concord, was arrested at 5:15 a.m. on April 18, on two counts of driving while intoxicated after she came into headquarters to speak to an officer about a fight she had gotten into with her boyfriend after being at a bonfire earlier in the evening. She reportedly smelled like alcohol and the officer noticed that her Scion was parked “halfway in a legal parking space with the front of the vehicle in a no parking zone.” When asked how she got there, she reportedly stated that she drove. She allegedly admitted to having about six drinks between 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Bowne was asked to take a field sobriety test and later arrested.
,John P. Miller, 28, of Cherry Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:12 a.m. on April 18, and charged with simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. Officers were sent to a domestic dispute between a man and woman with dispatch advising that officers had been sent to the address the day before for a domestic. When the arrived, Miller allegedly stated, “Oh look, it’s you guys again.” He reportedly told officers that he became upset when his girlfriend came home and turned all the lights on after agreeing to leave the previous day. She started collecting items around the house, including glasses that he owned. When he grabbed one of the glasses, the water reportedly splashed on her. The woman told the officer that Miller allegedly grabbed the glass and the water splashed on her head and shoulder. Miller was arrested.
Shawn T. Healy, 21, of Province Road in Webster, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on April 18, on a driving while intoxicated charge. An officer noticed a Chevrolet pickup driving on North Main Street without a working headlight. The vehicle was pulled over at the Exit 15W off ramp onto I-93. The driver, Healy, smelled like alcohol and reportedly had a bracelet similar to the ones given out at Tandy’s. Healy allegedly admitted to drinking at the bar. A check revealed that he had a probationary license that required that he not drive after drinking or taking drugs. When asked to take a field sobriety test, Healy allegedly refused, stating that he knew his rights and just wanted to go home. The officer explained that he was concerned whether he could drive safely and wasn’t violating his rights. He was later arrested and allegedly began yelling at the officer and a state trooper who showed up to assist. “As Healy yelled the odor of alcohol emanating from his breath was very strong,” the officer alleged. “Healy slurred his words as he yelled and continued to yell as I escorted him back to the police car.”
