Concord Teen Bagged On Aggravated DWI, Reckless Operation Charges

NHSP accuse Anthony Rosales of driving 102 mph on I-93 in Bow. John Jellue of Concord was also charged with government obstruction.

BOW, NH — A local teen was arrested on Saturday night on numerous charges after allegedly being clocked speeding on I-93 in Bow. Anthony Rosales, 18, of Concord, was arrested at around 11:30 p.m. on June 1, 2019, and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, underage driving while intoxicated, reckless operation, and unlawful possession of alcohol. Also arrested was John Jellue, 23, also of Concord, for obstruction of government administration. Two juveniles were also charged.

A state trooper, monitoring weekend traffic, observed a vehicle traveling on the Interstate at an excessive speed, according to Lt. Michael Commerford of Troop D.

“(The) trooper was able to obtain a radar reading of 102 mph in a posted 65 mph zone,” he stated.

The vehicle was stopped and an investigation revealed that Rosales “was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol” and he was arrested. Jellue, a passenger, was also arrested. The juveniles face unlawful possession of alcohol charges and one also had an electronic bench warrant, according to Commerford.

Both Rosales and Jellule will be arraigned in Concord District Court at a future date.
