Concord Police Log: Andover Man Charged with Reckless Driving

Plus, allegedly drunk man taken in for resisting arrest, homeless camper arrested on felony warrant, and driving and other charges.

Theodore Kendrick, 61, of Tucker Mountain Road in Andover, received a summons at 4:45 p.m. on July 19, for reckless operation after police were sent to a rollover accident on I-93 south near Exit 17 and Hoit Road (pictured). Kendrick reportedly told police that he was heading to Bow when he saw all the traffic on I-93 and went to turn around. When he went to back up, the wind reportedly pushed the cover of his truck bed up, blocked his vision, and the truck hit a curb and he rolled over. Kendrick was taken to the hospital for treatment. Witnesses alleged that the truck was traveling “at a very high rate of speed” before the crash. Kendrick was later cited at the hospital.

Adade M. Aboussa, 26, of Jennings Drive in Concord, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on July 21, for possession of controlled drugs, possession of drugs, and transportation of alcohol/open container. Also arrested was John J. Jellue, 19, of Jennings Drive in Concord, on a bench warrant for theft by unauthorized taking out of Concord District Court. While on North State Street, an officer clocked a vehicle going 48 mph in a 30 zone and pulled the vehicle over at Sewalls Falls Road. Aboussa began looking for his license while and three other passengers reportedly began moving things around in the vehicle and also reaching their hands into backpacks, according to the report. The officer requested them to stop and after another officer arrived, checked with dispatch on what he had from all involved. Jellue was a passenger in a vehicle and was arrested on the warrant. He’s due in court on Aug. 31. Aboussa reportedly provided the officer with a false name and didn’t appear to have valid license. The officer later realized his proper name and reportedly saw numerous open containers in the vehicle and he was taken into custody. During a search, officers allegedly found marijuana in the car and those charges were added. Aboussa is due in court on Aug. 31. Two other passengers were released from the scene.

Levi D. Faust, 24, of School Street in Boscawen, was arrested at 9:35 a.m. on July 21, for driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration after a traffic stop on Clinton Street for not having an inspection sticker. Faust reportedly told the officer that he was on his way to Franklin District Court to take care of the matter. He was convicted of driving after suspension in May 2014 in Concord District Court and lost his license on July 9, 2015, for default court summons.

Joseph Kelly, 27, of Stebbins Street in Worcester, received a summons for operating without a valid license after a traffic stop for using a mobile device at North State and Tenney streets.

Anthony M. Shinholster, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:41 p.m. on July 18, on a bench warrant for nonpayment of fine out of Concord District Court, $299 cash to settle. He was arrested at The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street after police were sent there for an alarm activation.

Brett Peterson, 25, of Rimmon Street in Manchester, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on July 18, for felony organized retail crime enterprise from the Ocean State Job Lots on D’Amante Drive in Concord on Sept. 13, 2014.

Giovanni D. Carone, 41, of Knoll Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:51 p.m. on July 18, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop at Storrs and Pleasant Street Extension for driving without headlights illuminated. Carone had his license suspended on April 25, 2014, for default court summons and was convicted of operating after suspension in Manchester District Court on Nov. 3, 2014.

William E. Clifton Jr., 51, of Rumford Street in Concord, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. on July 17, on a felony warrant. While on foot patrol behind the Concord Center on Ferry Street, officers came across a campsite. Clifton, police alleged, was walking away from the site. A check yielded an operating after being certified as a habitual offender warrant from April 17, 2015, for failure to appear, $10,000 cash bail. Clifton was then arrested and held.

Thomas M. Geary, 68, of Thorndike Street in Concord, received a summons at 1:44 p.m. on July 16, for consumption of liquor on private property for allegedly drinking a Naddy Daddy outside of the Concord Beef and Seafood on South Main Street.

Richard J. Butler, 69, of Tranquil Drive in Londonderry, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. on July 15, for violation of a protective order from an incident at The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street on July 14, 2015. According to a court affidavit, Butler reportedly walked into the food kitchen, saw someone he was not supposed to be near due to a stalking order, and walked right past him. A warrant was taken out for his arrest and after arrested, he was held without bail.

Robert L. Martin, 57, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 7:18 p.m. on July 13, for resisting arrest or detention. Concord Fire and Rescue teams were called to Canal Street for a man that was passed out. When an officer arrived, he saw them speaking with Martin who was reportedly yelling at the EMTs. Martin was allegedly intoxicated, irritable, and requested to be left alone, but wouldn’t stop screaming. The officer attempted to take him into protective custody and Martin allegedly resisting and was arrested.
