Convicted Concord Drunken Driver, Habitual Offender, Picked Up On Charges, Violations
Nicole Anne Callahan was arrested on felony habitual offender and other charges after a traffic stop on Fort Eddy Road on a dog food run.

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Concord, previously convicted of driving under the influence, is facing new charges after a traffic stop on Fort Eddy Road last month, according to police.
Around 11:30 a.m. on April 26, an officer on Loudon Road saw a Jeep Renegade, turning onto Fort Eddy Road, which did not have an inspection sticker. The officer ran the vehicle plate and it came back as being owned by Nicole Anne Callahan, 45, of Cottage Court in Concord. The check also found she had suspended privileges due to driving under the influence, reckless operation, and admin per se, and was certified as a habitual offender, according to the report.
As the vehicle pulled into a parking space by Hannaford supermarket, the officer activated the cruiser’s lights. The officer spoke to Callahan and asked if she had identification, but she said she did not, the report said, although she confirmed her name.

“I asked Callahan why she was driving and she told me she was going to get dog food,” the officer wrote. “Callahan said she had tried to get other people to help her, but no one could.”

Callahan was asked if she knew her habitual offender status and she said she did not, the report stated. She added she had a new hearing in May after defaulting on her prior hearing — which she did not know about until she went to the NH DMV.
The officer asked about the red 2025 registration sticker and how it got there. Callahan was accused of saying she did not know. A check of the decal number did not come back as stolen but was entered as evidence, the officer wrote.
Callahan was arrested and charged with felony operating after certification as a habitual offender, driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, and three driving after revocation or suspension charges as well as unofficial inspection-registration decal and two unregistered vehicle violations. She was held on preventive detention and arraigned on April 28. Callahan was then released on $300 cash bail.
The charges and violations were boundover to Merrimack County Superior Court on May 8.
According to an affidavit, Callahan was convicted on an aggravated driving under the influence charge in Concord District Court on July 22, 2024. She was also convicted on reckless driving on July 18, 2024, and habitual offender on April 11, 2024. Callahan was convicted on a driving after suspension charge in October 2023, suspended for administrative per se in May 2023 by the NH DMV, and aggravated DUI in March 2023.
Callahan is back in court for a dispositional conference on July 23.
