Fatal Crash; Dozens Promoted; More: New Hampshire State Police Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A driver died last week after a crash in the North Country, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Around 6:15 p.m. on April 8, state police were sent to the area of Exit 40 on Interstate 93 for a report of a rollover crash involving a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue. The car, according to a preliminary investigation, Tyler Dumont, a public information officer for state police, said, was traveling south at the time of the crash. The car, he said, left the highway, traveled into the median, and rolled “several times before coming to rest on the northbound side of the media.” State police do not know why the car left the highway in the first place.

The driver, Thomas Oakes, 26, of Bethlehem, was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

“All aspects of the crash remain under investigation,” he said.

Riley Jacob Turgeon, 23, of Rochester, was arrested on a DUI charge at 1:34 a.m. on March 23 in Hampton.

Nicholas Robert Scardina, 41, of Portsmouth, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. on March 22 on aggravated DUI-0.16-plus and DUI charges as well as an open container violation in Dover.

Laurie A. Rousseau, 52, of Rochester, was arrested at 7 p.m. on March 22 on driving after revocation or suspension and operating with an expired license charges in Rochester.

Charles Joseph Houser, 61, of Exeter, was arrested at 3:33 p.m. on March 21 on a DUI charge and an open container violation in Epping.

Robert E. Cresta, 70, of Kittery, Maine, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. on March 21 on aggravated DUI-attempt to elude, possession of a controlled drug, and reckless conduct-deadly weapon charges in Hampton.

Shimaa Mahmoud Gazal, 44, of Madbury, was arrested on a domestic violence-simple assault charge at 9:50 a.m. on March 21. Also arrested was Ahmed M. Alnazer, 43, of Madbury, on three domestic violence-simple assault charges. They were arrested in Madbury.

Julio M. Manobanda, 54, of Biddeford, ME, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. on March 20 on an operating without a valid license charge in Hampton.

Logan Richard Winsor, 22, of Greenland, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. on March 20 on a driving after revocation or suspension as well as suspension of vehicle registration and highway construction zone-speeding violations in Portsmouth.

Trisha M. Richer, 38, of Rochester, was arrested on a warrant at 11:40 a.m. on March 20 in Rochester.

Gabriel Y. Contreras, 24, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested on a driving after revocation or suspension charge at 11:25 a.m. on March 20 in Hampton.

Deborah C. Garland, 63, of Dover, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. on March 19 on a DUI charge and a yellow-solid line violation in Dover.

Carter Mitchell Hoyt, 20, of Dover, was arrested at 11:22 a.m. on March 19 on speeding: 26-plus mph over the limit of 55 or less and reckless operation charges as well as a misuse of plates violation in Dover.

Austin Fifield, 27, of Brookfield, was arrested at 6:11 a.m. on March 19 on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge as well as driving without giving proof, suspension of vehicle registration, and open container violations in Rochester.

Dylan E. Cassell, 17, of Somersworth, was arrested on a reckless operation charge at 10:51 p.m. on March 18 in Somersworth.

Huddleston Charshay Marie, 27, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on March 18 on driving after revocation or suspension, operating without a valid license, and speeding: 25-plus mph over 65 limit charges in Hampton.

David Jose Fernandes, 30, of Hyannis, MA, was arrested on a reckless operation charge at 9:57 p.m. on March 17 in Portsmouth.

Rachel M. Munroe, 43, of Manchester, was arrested on a warrant at 9:39 a.m. on March 18 in Bedford.

Kyle Loconte, 37, of Bedford, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. on March 17 on reckless conduct-deadly weapon, aggravated DUI-attempt to elude police, aggravated DUI-0.16-plus, DUI, disobeying an officer, and reckless operation charges as well as a lane control violation in Manchester. Sheila Jean Fogarty, 54, of Derry, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. on March 17 on disobeying an officer, operating without a valid license, and two driving after revocation or suspension charges as well as a false report to law enfocement violation in Derry.

Jamal Delvon Hemingway, 39, of Franklin, was arrested on a bench warrant and an arrest without a warrant-domestic violence at 3:14 p.m. on March 22 in Concord as well as a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge.

James Raymond Blaisdell, 48, of Barnstead, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. on March 21 on DUI and DUI-second charges as well as open container and unregistered vehicle violations in Bow.

Eric R. Dearborn, 35, of Merrimack, was arrested at 11:03 p.m. on March 19 on disobeying an officer and reckless operation charges in Henniker.

Daniel O’Neil, 34, of Warner, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. on March 19 on stalking-domestic violence and violation of a protective order charges in Nashua.

Joel Bradley Ekstrom, 53, of Bow, was arrested at 11:04 p.m. on March 17 on aggravated-DUI-0.16-plus, conduct after an accident, DUI, and DUI-adult more than 0.08; minor more than 0.02 charges in Bow.

Gerald Thomas Murchison, 48, of New Boston, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. on March 17 on a DUI charge as well as lane control and yellow-solid line violations in Concord.

Daniel Scott Bodek, 59, of Beverly, MA, was arrested at 7:47 p.m. on March 22 on a DUI-second charge as well as open container and spot lamps-auxiliary lights violations in Ossipee.

Roderick W. Urquhart, 39, of Canterbury, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. on March 21 on operating after certification as a habitual offender, driving after revocation or suspension, and motor vehicle not equipped with alcohol interlock device charges in Belmont.

Maikel Martinez Garcia, 31, of Nashua, was arrested at 1:43 p.m. on March 20 on unsworn falsification and two tampering with public records: present false records charges in Nashua.

Shane A. Hustus, 24, of Concord, was arrested on a reckless operation charge at 6:01 p.m. on March 18 in Hooksett.

Roma Korol, 27, of Quincy, MA, was arrested at 12:11 p.m. on March 15 on a reckless operation charge in Sanbornton.

Shawn Thomas Phillips, 50, of Canterbury, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. on March 14 on driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent and three driving after revocation or suspension charges as well as a “hands-free” and agriculture plates-20 mile radius violations in New London.

A 17-year-old was arrested at 5:46 p.m. on March 10 on loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, operating without a valid license, criminal trespass, reckless operation, two disobeying an officer, and two resisting arrest or detention charges as well as a muffler violation in Woodsville.

Isaac Michael Gridley, 20, of Manchester, was arrested on a reckless operation charge at 11:04 a.m. on March 10 in Manchester.

Robert Scott Kyle, 58, of Tewksbury, MA, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. on March 9 on aggravated DUI-0.16-plus and DUI charges in Randolph.

Rafael A. Cuesta Altamar, 22, of Chicago, Illinois, was arrested on a fugitive warrant at 1:12 a.m. on March 3 in Whitefield.
