Franklin Felon Faces Fentanyl, Meth Sales Indictment: Superior Court

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Joshua Prue, 36, of New Hampton Road in Franklin on two felony stalking: domestic violence prior conviction charges. He was accused of repeatedly calling a former intimate partner on Dec. 9, and Dec. 11, 2021, in Franklin. Prue was previously convicted of stalking in Cheshire County Superior Court in October 2020.

John Shampney, 29, of North Road in Warner on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-methamphetamine and fluorofentanyl mix and fentanyl and meth mix charges on Dec. 21, 2021, in Bow.

Maddox Smith, 27, of Cheney Road in Newbury on pistols & revolvers; convicted felons and attempted falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of spraying lube into a glass pipe containing a white substance and possessing a U.S. Marine Corps KA-Bar Knife on Dec. 11, 2021, in Henniker.

Michael Spaulding, 35, of North Road in Warner on a felony attempted theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of attempting to steal more than $1,000 worth of items from Walmart in Concord on Dec. 1, 2021.

Daniel W. Steele Jr., 23 of Cross Street in Quincy, Massachusetts, on a controlled drug act; acts prohibited-marijuana charge. He was accused of possessing 5 pounds of the plant on Dec. 29, 2021, in Henniker.

Andrew Stone, 34 of Crossbrook Road in Loudon on two felony possession of controlled drug charges, methamphetamine and psilocin and psilocybin, on Nov. 3, 2021, on Crossbrook Road in Loudon.

Connor N. Sullivan, 28, of Fairmont Street in Laconia on three felony reckless conduct charges. He was accused of driving a vehicle in a dangerous manner by striking two other vehicles and forcing them off Interstate 93 on July 11, 2021, in Canterbury.

Shannon Surette, 43, of Conant Street in Manchester on a felony possession of meth charge on Sept. 28, 2021, in Hooksett.

Tally Wentworth, 55, of School Street in Franklin on felon in possession, a switchblade knife, and possession of meth charges, both felonies, on Jan. 1 in Franklin. Previously, according to the indictment, she was convicted on a drug possession charge in August 2018 in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Justin Adams, 40, of Central Street in Franklin on sale of fentanyl and two sale of meth charges, all felonies. He was accused of selling the drugs on Feb. 8 and Feb. 11 on Central Street in Franklin. Previously, according to the indictment, Adams was convicted of acts prohibited in Merrimack County Superior Court in May 2019.
