Franklin Man Indicted On Child Rape Charge: County Court
Plus: Concord teen indicted on strangulation charge; Bradford man accused of stealing electricity; drug and habitual offender indictments.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted in Merrimack County Superior Court recently.
Paula A. Currier, 34, incarcerated at Merrimack County House of Corrections at the time of the indictment, on a felony delivery of articles prohibited charge, fentanyl and tramadol, while in the Merrimack County Jail in Boscawen on Jan. 1.
John Defeo, 47, of Willimaine Drive in Newton on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. He was accused of driving on the Londonderry Turnpike in Hooksett after being deemed a habitual offender on Nov. 3, 2020.

Stephen P. Denault, 33, a homeless man now located in Concord, on a felony delivery of articles prohibited charge, methamphetamine, on Feb. 12, 2020, in the Merrimack County Jail.
Ashley Eaton, 22, of Chamberlain Road in New Boston on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. She was accused of driving on Commerce Drive in Hooksett after being certified as a habitual offender on Oct. 18, 2020.

Baby Kayitani Fiston, 19, of Jennings Drive in Concord on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling a woman on Sept. 10, 2020, in Concord.
Christopher Frost, 28, of Bog Road in Concord on a felony falsifying physical evidence charge. He was accused of hiding evidence from police after a theft incident at Cumberland Farms in Concord on Aug. 25, 2020.
Jonathan Kyle Glidden, 37, a homeless man now located in Concord, on four felony possession of a controlled drug charges, all subsequent offenses. He was accused of possessing meth, fentanyl, and tramadol on May 17, and meth on Sept. 17, 2020, in Concord.
Ryan Gregoire, 34, with a last known address of Beech Street in Manchester, on motor vehicles; penalties as well as three controlled drug act; acts prohibited, convicted felons, and pistols & revolvers-convicted felons, all felony charges. He was accused of being in possession of a shank, a large fixed blade, lisdexamfetamine, fentanyl, and meth on Sept. 13, 2020, while driving on Robert Rogers Road in Dunbarton.
Stephen Hall, 29, incarcerated at the time of the indictment but formerly of Corn Road in Boscawen or Franklin on an aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of raping a girl on more than one occasion between November 2019 and March 2020 in Franklin.
Rocco Sfara, 46, of Rumford Street in Concord on two felony receiving stolen property charges. He was accused of stealing a purse from one woman and a tablet from another woman on Dec. 9, 2020, in Concord. Twice before, he was convicted on theft charges. Sfara was out on bail at the time of the incidents.
Peter Sherman, 40, of Green Street in Claremont on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charge, buprenorphine, in Bow on July 25, 2020.
Jacob R. Silverstein, 23, of South Street in Concord on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges, amphetamine and meth, on July 26, 2020, in Concord.
Maddox Smith, 26, of Massasecum Avenue in Bradford on a felony theft of services charge. He was accused of removing a disconnect sleeve put in place by Eversource and failing to pay for the electricity used between Jan. 15, and June 16, 2020, in Bradford.
