Henniker Man, Bow Teen Indicted on Rape Charges: Roundup
Plus, New London man indicted for driving 90 in a 25 zone, felony charge handed down after Hopkinton incident, and theft, drug indictments.
CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.
Jessica McDevitt, 28, of High Street in Portland, ME, on seven counts of felony identity fraud. In April and May 2014 in Concord, she allegedly posed as another person to obtain unemployment compensation benefits belonging to that person.

Hollis Calley, 72, Franklin Street in Concord, for receiving stolen property. On April 26, 2016, he allegedly retained five U.S. Savings Bonds belonging to the estate of another person.
Joshua White, 35, of Lincoln Street in Franklin, for felony possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, allegedly on Oct. 15, 2015 in Franklin. He was previously convicted in Merrimack County Superior Court of sale of a controlled drug in April 2010.

William Wheeler, 54, of West Bow Street in Franklin, for felony robbery. On Sept. 21, 2016, in Canterbury, he allegedly held a knife against another man’s throat and demanded money.
Gilbert Burns, 69, of Elm Street in Manchester, for two felony counts of theft by unauthorized taking. On or about Sept. 1, 2016, he allegedly stole books that were the property of the New Hampshire Technical Institute with the intent of reselling them.
Roger Ward, 52, pictured upper left, of Old Mill Pond Road in Henniker, on seven counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, five counts felonious sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of indecent exposure and lewdness, all felonies. Between May and August 2016, in Henniker, he allegedly sexually assaulted and fondled two girls, recording some of the activity on his iPad.
Jasmine Vertigans, 31, of Province Street in Laconia, for possession of a controlled drug-fentanyl, allegedly on July 29, 2016, in Concord.
Derek Tillotson, 19, pictured right, of Cedar Lane in Bow, for three counts of felony aggravated felonious sexual assault and two counts of simple assault. On Oct. 25, 2015, in Andover, he allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl, kissed her, and bit her lip.
William Surowiec, 29, of Franklin Street in Franklin, for felony prohibited acts-welfare fraud. Between September 2013 and August 2016, he allegedly aided Melynda Cate by means of false statement or representation – that he was paying child support while he was living with her – so she could obtain medical assistance and food stamps of more than $1,000.
Alexander Stevens, 54, pictured lower left, of New London, currently incarcerated, for operating after suspension, criminal mischief, resisting arrest or detention, and disobeying an officer, reckless conduct, a felony. On Oct. 17, 2016, he allegedly drove 90 mph in a 25 mph zone on Parkside Road in New London, running through a stop sign and failing to stop for police. He was convicted of operating after revocation or suspension in Merrimack County Superior Court on Jan. 14.
Ryan Stetzler, 31, a homeless man now located in Concord, for felony receiving stolen property for allegedly taking a Ford F-250 pickup truck, valued at more than $1,500, that belonged to another person.
Ronnie Stephens, 32, of Dole Schoolhouse Road in Washington, for felony burglary. At sometime between April 24, and May 1, 2016, he allegedly burglarized a Galloping Hill Road home in Hopkinton.
Jay Starkweather, 20, of North Road in North Sutton, for possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, allegedly on Sept. 28, 2016, in New London.
