Concord Police: New Hampton woman arrested on three DWI counts after crash; backing up the wrong way on School Street leads to DWI charge.

CONCORD, NH - Ryan D. Sullivan, 20, of Vaney Road in Barnstead, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2016, on a felony possession of controlled drugs charge from an alleged incident at Concord Gardens on Aug. 28, 2015. He was arrested at the Merrimack County House of Corrections and brought to Concord for processing. Sullivan is due in court on Feb. 22.

Jaime Butler, 25, of Ellen Brook Road in Hillsboro, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2016, on two counts of simple assault and disorderly conduct. The charges stem from an alleged incident at the Burger King on Loudon Road on Dec. 19, 2015. She’s due in court on Feb. 8.

Michael W. Menefee, 39, of Chestnut Street in Pittsfield, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2015, on a bench warrant. Also arrested on warrants was Megan L. Cullen, 28, of South Street in Concord. Officers were sent to the Best Western on Hall Street for a report of possible drug activity in one of the rooms from an anonymous tipster. Officers met with the occupants of the room, Menefee and Cullen, found they had warrants, and arrested them both. Menefee was wanted out of Concord District Court on a suspension charge; Cullen was wanted on a parole violation. She refused bail and was held; he’s due in court on Feb. 8.
Mary A. Hensley, 36, of Thorndike Street in Concord, was arrested at 10 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2015, for felony possession of drugs. Police were sent to Target on D’Amante drive for a report of drug activity in the parking lot. They located two people in a Hyundai Accent. One, Hensley, reportedly wasn’t wearing shoes or socks and her pants were unbuttoned with her feet on the dashboard. “I asked Hensley why they were here, the officer alleged. “Hensley stated they were old friends and they were talking and singing Christmas songs before heading into Target to shop.” The officer saw that Hensley’s purse was knocked over on the floor of the car and he allegedly found syringes and baggies. “In my brief contact with Hensley, it was clear she was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol,” the officer alleged. Later, she alleged stated she had a few drinks and “used heroin” around 5 p.m. Police asked both Hensley and a man to exit the car. The man had no issues but Hensley was allegedly unable to locate her shoes even though one was on the floor in front of her and the other was on her seat. A baggie of heroin allegedly fell out of her pocket and she was arrested. During a consent search, police allegedly found six empty syringes, a glass pipe, and eight plastic baggies with residue. In her wallet, they allegedly found two wrapped bindles of heroin. Hensley due in court on Feb. 1.

Alvin L. Coles, 49, of 3rd Range Road in Pembroke, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2015, for driving while intoxicated and one-way roadways violation. An officer on North Main Street observed a Ford Explorer on School Street backing up in the wrong direction. The officer drove his cruiser over to the School Street and while doing so, saw the Ford hit the brakes and that it had a defective brake light. The officer pulled the vehicle over on School Street and asked to see the driver’s wallet. “The man then reached towards his back pocket for his wallet,” the officer alleged. “It took three attempts for the man to remove his wallet from his back pocket. I also know from my training and experience that dexterity problems can be a sign indicative of drug and/or alcohol impairment.” The driver, Cole, smelled like alcohol and had bloodshot, glassy eyes. He agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested.
Shawn A. Rowell, 48, of South Main Street in Franklin, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2015, on a bench warrant and possession of controlled drugs. Police were sent to Burns Avenue for a report of a homeless man that might be intoxicated who was passed out in the foyer of the residence. The property manager was unable to wake him, according to the report. The man – Rowell – was awake when police arrived and had a nonappearance in court warrant out of Franklin District Court, $1,000 cash bail. He was arrested. During a search of his jacket, police allegedly found marijuana and the drug charge was added.
Karen L. Parshley, 44, of Straits Road in New Hampton, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. on Dec. 3, 2015, for two counts of driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and transportation of alcohol/open container after a crash on Little Pond Road near Coventry Road. Dispatch reported that a caller stated the vehicle had heavy damage and there was a woman urinating on the side of the road, according to the report. The woman was reportedly stumbling around but said she was OK. The caller stated she appeared to be intoxicated. The first officer arrived to find the driver sitting in the car smoking a cigarette. Both passenger side tires were gone and the front passenger side appeared to be missing the right side of the axle, according to the report. When asked if she was OK, Parshley allegedly stated that she was “fine.” She was wearing medical scrubs and appeared to have soiled herself. There was also a box of wine in the passenger seat, according to the report. “Parshley was allegedly slurring her words so much that I had to ask her to repeat numerous parts of our conversation,” the officer alleged. After some back and forth, she was arrested.
Hector L. Rodriguez, 21, of Concord Gardens in Concord, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2015, for criminal mischief and a bench warrant. Also arrested was James E. Pechacek, 23, of Concord Gardens, for felony burglary. Concord officers and New Hampshire State Police executed a search warrant at Concord Gardens connected to the case involving stolen Operation Santa Claus items from the NH DOT building. Rodriguez had an active warrant from Concord Police on a vandalism charge and a bench warrant for nonappearance in court on a willful concealment charge from Oct. 15, 2015, $500 cash bail. Pechacek was processed and held on $5,000 cash bail.
